“I love the man that can smile in trouble, that can gather strength from distress, and grow brave by reflection. ‘Tis the business of little minds to shrink, but he whose heart is firm, and whose conscience approves his conduct, will pursue his principles unto death” (Thomas Paine). By being and doing we deliver the best example to follow, for only we can change ourselves, which is a full-time, persistent, and constant inside lifelong endeavor. Get out of your own way, while fervently pursuing your dreams and goals allowing nothing that happens stop or hinder you from moving and progressing faithfully forward. It is good to fall forward, although motivational speaker and author, Les Brown, has a saying, “If I can look up, I can get up.”¹ Even when we fall backwards, if we can look up, we can get up and press on toward our dreams.
